A Meridian man faces charges for sexual battery following an investigation into an abduction.

The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department followed a claim over social media that an underage girl had been kidnapped but, upon investigation, discovered that no abduction took place.

Chief Deputy Ward Calhoun said Talon Sterling Price, 18, was charged with sexual battery following the investigation.
