Meridian Police Department

The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 6 a.m. Tuesday and 6 a.m. Thursday:

• Driving under the influence/first offense – Adrian Donte Baylor, 43, 1203 39th Ave., Meridian. Baylor is also charged with contempt of court, improper equipment, expired driver’s license.

• Driving under the influence/other – Jimmy Scott, born on 1961, 714 Rose St. Scott is also charged with no insurance, careless driving.

• Public drunk – Danaka Conner, born in 1992, 4305 Paulding St.

• DUI – William Barcham, born in 1959, 5726 Hwy 45 bypass. Barcham is also charged with fail to yield, no insurance, failure to signal the turn.

• Simple assault – Calvin Wilson, born in 1987, 5404 1st Ave.

• DUI/second offense – Ronald Brown, born in 1957, 116 36th Ave. Brown is also charged with possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, no driver’s license, no insurance, ran stop sign/3 times, ran a red light/two times, refuse to stop for blue light.

• 1600 block of 14th St. at 9:19 p.m.

Auto burglary

• 2200 block of South Frontage Road at 6:35 a.m.

• 1100 block of Constitution Ave. at 6:54 a.m. – four calls.

• 2400 block of 11th St. at 11:16 a.m.

• 200 block of South Frontage Rd. at 12:14 p.m.

• 2400 block of 11th St. at 12:36 p.m.

• 2300 block of 8th St. at 7:45 p.m.

• 200 block of A St. at 8:48 p.m.

Residential burglary

• 1300 block of 46th St. at 8:30 a.m.

• 1500 block of 13th Ave. at 4:02 p.m.

• 700 block of 55th Ave. at 5:23 p.m.

• 5300 block of Hwy 39 North at 5:45 p.m.

• 1600 block of 13th Ave. at 8:55 p.m.

• Meridian Police responded to 3 shots fired calls but when officers arrived on scene there was not any evidence found to support the calls.

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department

The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests from 8:44 a.m. Wednesday and 8:43 a.m. Thursday.

• No driver’s license – John Mark Carney, 30, 5880 Oxford Road, Lauderdale.

• Possession of marijuana/first offense – Melisa Daniel, 20, 21 Magnolia St., Hickory.

• Felony driving under the influence – Stacy Ford, 47, 668 CR 410, Quitman.

• Burglary dwelling house – Abraham Patrick Portis, 46, 3146 E. Cook Road, Meridian.

• Suspended driver’s license – Mark Steve Robinson, 57, 10588 Highway 494, Meridian.

• DUI/first offense – Rochelle G. Wise, 37, 358 Chapel Hill Drive, Meridian.
