The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 6 a.m. Wednesday and 6 a.m. Thursday:

• Possession of stolen firearm – Eric Lawrence Russell, 45, 2120 26th Ave. J, Meridian.

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department

The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests from 8:44 a.m. Wednesday and 8:43 a.m. Thursday:

• Domestic violence/simple assault – Arquita Keuinta Bell, 34, 277 Greenhill Road, Meridian.

• Improper equipment – Gregory Paul Blanchard, 50, 3812 12th St., Meridian. Blanchard is also charged with expired driver’s license.

• No driver’s license – Arlander Bunn, 59, 10329 Crowell Road, Lisman, Ala.

• Possession of marijuana more than 30 grams – Travis Dewayne Burns, 34, 4540 Pleasant Hill Road, Meridian.

• Prohibition, deadly weapon or contraband in jail – Vashanda Sharee Clark, 30, 2307 22nd St., Meridian. Clark is also charged with conspiracy to introduce.

• Suspended driver’s license – Jennifer Jo Green, 30, 2121 Grand Ave., Meridian. Green is also charged with disregard of traffic device.

• Ms. Compulsory School Attendance Law/two counts – Martha Ann Hibbler, 208 26th St., Bessamer, Ala.

• Aggravated assault – Jadarius Jaquis Kelly, 16, 1524 47th Ave., Meridian.

• Possession of marijuana/first offense – Justin Paul Martsching, 19, 5774 Zero Road, Meridian.

• Grand larceny-more than $1000.00 – Charles Thomas Melton, 44, 205 Dupree St., Raymond.

• Probation violation/parole – Demarcus Lashaw Atterberry, 28, 7455 Lizelia Road, B7, Marion. Arresting agency/officer – Aycox

• Probation violation/parole – Julius Alexander Presswood, 44, 2218 31st Ave., Meridian. Arresting agency/officer – Aycock.

• Probation violation/parole – Stephen Todd Russell, 36, 4734 E. Crescent Lake Rd., Meridian. Arresting agency/officer – Linza.
