Sheila and Danny Bennett and Michael and Kelly Reed, all of Meridian, announce the engagement of their daughter, Heather Renee’, to Ricky Timothy Cleveland Jr., son of Ricky and Regina Cleveland of Union.

The couple will exchange vows Saturday, Oct. 21, 2017, at 5 in the evening. The wedding is being directed by Oak Weddings at their Sandridge Barn venue in Forest, with a reception to follow.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Pearly Mae Ethridge and the late Thomas Lavell Stewart Sr. and Jewel Lee Carmichael and the late Bobby Wayne Carmichael of the Meridian area.

Miss Reed is a graduate of Meridian High School. She received her associate of arts and RN degrees from Meridian Community College and her bachelor of science degree in nursing from Mississippi University for Women.

Miss Reed is currently employed in the critical care unit at Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian.

Mr. Cleveland is a graduate of Union High School. He received his bachelor of science degree in industrial technology from Mississippi State.

He is currently employed as a material program manager at Raytheon in Forest.

After a trip to Sedona, Ariz., the couple will reside in Union.
