• 1 p.m. – Bingo at the Meridian Activity Center.
• 4:30 p.m. – K-6th Grade Craft Activity at the Meridian-Lauderdale County Public Library.
Friday, Sept. 1

• 10 a.m. – The EMBDC will have a ribbon cutting for the Grand Opening of State Farm Agency, 2207 8th St., Meridian.
• 3-6 p.m. – Agape Storehouse LFW Ministries, Inc. will have a Labor Day Fundraiser – Boston Butts or Rack of Ribs. Tickets $25. Pickup at Agape Storehouse Church Fellowship Hall., 4603 Highway 39 N. Homemade baked good also available for purchase on day of event.

• 11 a.m.-3 p.m. – The Meridian First Saturday Art Walk will be held in downtown Meridian. A variety of artists will exhibit at Dumont Plaza, the Meridian Museum of Art, the Brickhaus, and other downtown businesses.
