When Meridian Community College hosted its fifth annual Back to School With MCC event on Thursday students from all stages came to Ivy Hall on campus to get more information about the college and its offerings. In this photo, Leanne Motes, MCC campus life coordinator, left, hands over a T-shirt to Sandra Stennis, center, and Chasity Stowe. Both Stennis and Stowe are from Meridian. Stennis will be returning to MCC when the college begins its fall semester on Monday to complete her prerequisites classes. She plans on applying for the Practical Nursing Program. Stowe will return to her studies in the Graphic Design Program on Monday as well. “I’m so happy with the show of support,” said Adrian Cross, MCC recruiter and organizer of the Back to School with MCC. Approximately 115 people signed up to participate in this year’s event.
