Hall, Seale place in top ten at Miss Mississippi Pageant

Mia Hall of Meridian and Miriam Grace Seale of Philadelphia placed in the top ten during the 2017 Miss Mississippi Pageant Saturday night in Vicksburg. Hall, Miss Hattiesburg, is a music (vocal performance) major at the University of Southern Mississippi. Her talent was vocal performance. Seale, Miss Neshoba County Fair, is a biochemistry and microbiology major at Mississippi State University. Her talent was lyrical dance.
Anne Elizabeth Buys, Miss Vicksburg, was crowned Miss Mississippi.
Other local contenders were Anna McDaniel, Arielle Marie Dale and Macken’z Smith. McDaniel, Miss William Carey University, is a broadcast journalism/mass communications major at William Carey. Her talent was vocal performance. Dale, Miss Belle of the Bayou, received a bachelor of fine arts degree in dance performance and choreography from the University of Southern Mississippi. Her talent was jazz dance. Smith, Miss Rolling Hills, is a communication sciences and disorders major at the University of Mississippi. Her talent was vocal performance. Meridian native and MCC alumnus Telvin Lewis, who was a contestant on the reality competition show “American Idol,” performed during the week of competition.
