60TH ANNIVERSARY

- Richard Allen “Dickie” and Hilda Faye (Reynolds) Davis of Meridian will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary Thursday, June 21, 2017. The couple were married June 21, 1957, by the Rev. James Richardson. They have four children: Debbie Shirley, Donna Davis and Rick Davis, all of Meridian, and Denise Davis of Demopolis, Ala.; 12 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. Mr. Davis is a retired registered land surveyor with Associated Consultants. He served 33-plus years in the Air National Guard and retired as a senior master sergeant. Mrs. Davis retired from Lauderdale County Public School System. The couple’s children will host an event to commemorate their anniversary on Saturday, June 24, 2017, from 2-5 p.m., at the Davis residence. No gifts requested.
