Brown Bottling Group has announced Pete Aniel, territory manager at the Meridian branch, has been selected as a recipient of the PepsiCo Chairman’s Ring of Honor.
“Pete’s dedication to his customers and our team for more than 35 years has played a key role in our business’s continued success,” Bill Brown, President and Chief Executive Officer of Brown Bottling Group, said. “We are thrilled that he will be recognized on a global level.”
The Chairman’s Ring of Honor, an award created in 1999, recognizes and celebrates the “best of the best” of PepsiCo’s frontline sales team across the globe. Honorees are selected on the basis of sales accomplishments, outstanding customer service and leadership. Less than one-quarter of one percent of PepsiCo employees are honored. This year’s class includes 200 inductees from more than 50 countries.
Aniel and his wife Linda of 37 years, both of Causeyville, attended a celebration with activities in and near PepsiCo global headquarters in Purchase, New York, including a visit to New York City, meetings with senior leadership, and the Chairman’s Ring of Honor Awards gala, where winners received a special ring to commemorate their achievement.
“It has been an honor to work with Pete since 1982,” Brown said. “In addition to his hard work on our team, he is a strong leader in the community, serving as president of both the Causeyville Community Club and Causeyville Baseball League.”
Headquartered in Ridgeland, Brown Bottling Group partners with PepsiCo to offer carbonated, non-carbonated, coffee and tea products including Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Gatorade, Starbucks, Lipton, Aquafina, Muscle Milk, and Ocean Spray.
