65TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY

James and Jewel Avera Davidson of Meridian are celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary. Their children will celebrate their parents in honor of their commitment and to the glory of God Sunday, April 30, 2017. The couple were married May 2, 1952. Mr. Davidson is retired from Illinois Central Gulf Railroad and Mrs. Davidson from Midway Baptist Church. They have three children, Rose Marie Davidson McLaughlin and Alan Davidson, both of Meridian, and Penny Davidson Kimrey of Birmingham, Ala.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
