The Newton Chamber of Commerce has postponed the 14th annual Loose Caboose Festival Saturday because of the threat of bad weather. No reschedule date has been announced. 

The midway carnival will go on as planned Friday night, but the Saturday carnival has been cancelled. The unveiling of the Grierson’s Raid Diorama has been rescheduled to 2 p.m. Friday at the Newton Depot.
