Meridian Police Department

The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8:44 a.m. Friday and 8:43 a.m. Monday:

• Disturbance of a family – Carlos Marquis Boyd, 41, 107 71st Place, Meridian. Boyd is also charged with disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.

• Public drunkenness – Willie Lee Burrage Jr., 52, 2538 Shiloh Church Road, DeKalb.

• Possession of marijuana, first offense – Kendaisha D. Crowell, 21, 1564 Ridge Road, Meridian. Crowell is also charged with improper equipment, disorderly conduct and no liability insurance.

• Domestic violence – Travis S. Dean, 33, 107 Wood Drive, Meridian.

• Failure to pay child support – James Stephen Garrison, 40, 317 54th Ave., Meridian.

• Burglary of commercial building, cars, etc. – Antonio A. Gatling, 41, 1916 34th Ave., Meridian. Gatling is also charged with aggravated assault on a police officer and possession of marijuana.

• Simple assault, domestic – Charles Davey Knight, 26, 167 Skyland Drive, Meridian. Knight is also charged with failure to appear (justice court).

• Public drunkenness – Samuel Lee, 59, homeless. Lee is also charged with possession of paraphernalia.

• Driving under the influence (DUI), first offense – William G. McCormick, 55, 4658 Zero Road, Meridian.

• Trespassing – Jeffery McKinnis, 49, 825 21st St., Meridian.

• Possession of marijuana, first offense – John W. Price Jr., 37, 3009 Willow Drive, Meridian. Price is also charged with disturbance of family, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.

• Possession of controlled substance – John Kenneth Stewart, 29, homeless.

The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests between 8:44 a.m. Friday and 8:43 a.m. Monday:

• DUI, first offense – Christopher Ryan Alfonsi, 24, 1505 Rockingway Drive, Marietta, Ga. Alfonsi is also charged with disregard of traffic device and improper lane usage.

• Simple assault causing bodily injury – Lenray Charles Barnes, 29, 5603 Arthur St., Meridian.

• Grand larceny – Troy Christopher Bosarge, 34, 5301 Orange Grove Road, Moss Point.

• DUI, first offense – Rolonda Ta’she Brown, 22, 2705 St. Luke St., Meridian. Brown is also charged with careless driving, seat-belt violation, driving without a license, no liability insurance violation of child restraint law, child endangerment and possession of marijuana.

• Fleeing and eluding in a motor vehicle – Antinieccia S. Burrage, 28, 1801 24th St., Meridian.

• Willful trespassing – Jason Mark Busby, 34, 9058 Westwood Drive, Meridian.

• DUI, first offense – Brandon Carney, 20, 3427 Causeyville Road, Meridian. Carney is also charged with expired tag.

• DUI, other substance – Jihad Amir Conner, 20, 71 County Road 262, Shubuta. Conner is also charged with seat-belt violation, careless driving, no liability insurance and possession of marijuana in vehicle.

• Possession of marijuana, first offense – Maureka Conner, 18, 1810 29th St., Meridian.

• Simple assault, two counts – Lawrence Fluker, 51, 8256 King Road, Meridian.

• DUI, first offense – Wilson Gates, 48, 903 29th Ave., Meridian. Gates is also charged with seat-belt violation.

• Aggravated assault – Sharnice Shanbell Hardy, 20, 1306 Highway 19 South, Meridian.

• Probation violation/parole – Shawntez Lanard Lanier, 29, 4116 19th St., Meridian.

• Possession of marijuana – James Edward Lofton II, 37, 1974 Russell Mt. Gilead Road, Meridian. Lofton is also charged with two counts of failure to appear (justice court).

• DUI, first offense – Micheal Moses, 53, 5602 Tunbridge Wells Road, Lithonia, Ga. Moses is also charged with reckless driving.

• Possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute – Samantha Sierra Naylor, 28, 2268 Old Wire Road, Meridian. Naylor is also charged with willful trespassing.

• Petit larceny – Matthew Casey Otwell, 30, 9710 Grissom Road, Bailey.

• Failure to appear (justice court), four counts – Rasheda Penry, 23, 3615 35th St., Meridian. Penry is also charged with driving without a license, no tag and no liability insurance.

• Possession of methamphetamine – Lisa Ann Price-Spears, 37, 518 34th Ave., Meridian.

• DUI, first offense – Corderous Levon Taylor, 27, 1005 Bragg Ave., Meridian. Taylor is also charged with failure to yield and speeding.
