Boycotting, NFL, Super Bowl, network news
When Colin Kaepernick decided not to stand and place his right hand over his heart when the national anthem was played, I decided not to watch any more NFL games on my television. I considered this action as a slap in the face for all veterans, especially those who gave their lives to protect this nation.

In view of the recent election of President Donald J. Trump, I have now expanded my boycott to include the following TV Channels, CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS and FOX. I have decided to watch only the local news and weather, Sunday church services, and football when Mississippi State, Ole Miss or Alabama is playing on these TV Stations.
The reason I am doing this is because these networks have a tendency to bash our president and also really do not give you all the news since they are primarily liberal in their approach to the news. If you folks want to hear the news as it really happens, I would recommend that you listen to Rush Limbaugh, Hannity, Fox TV or radio, Joe Pags or Dr. Michael Savage, who broadcast Monday through Friday on WALT Radio, which also broadcasts The Meridian Star ads.
In addition, The Roger Burke, Billy Jack Ethridge show from 6-9 a.m. is also great listening.
When the Super Bowl is played, I will be watching the Kitty Bowl and the Puppy Bowl on other channels. These kitties really do some fine tackling and the puppies are just as great. This is one man’s opinion.
