A suspected tornado caused severe damage in the Lauderdale Community in northeast Lauderdale County late Saturday night. Damage to homes and minor injuries were reported; trees and power lines were knocked down near Lockhart Trailer Park Road and Campground Road, where the tornado reportedly touched down. 

Emergency responders are working to clean up the affected areas and county officials are urging residents to be careful traveling on the roads.
