Jones Chapel Church of God is part of the Church of God reformation movement based in Anderson, Ind.

This particular congregation was established in 1890. The current worship facility was completed in 1971 and the Family Life Center was added in 2003.

Weekly Programs

• Student Ministries: R12 student ministries seeks to equip our 7th-12th-grade students to make an impact in their world by being a living sacrifice daily. We meet every Sunday and Wednesday night.

• Men’s Ministries: Through our ministry, we desire to encourage men to reach their fullest potential in their relationships, families, and careers which we believe only comes through a strong relationship with Christ.

• Women’s Ministries: It is a great way for women of every age, and with varied backgrounds, to make new friends and learn about God through fellowship and special events.

• Small Groups: This ministry strives to be a community of people changing the world. By forming one body in loving fellowship we serve one another, spread the gospel, and become disciples of Christ as in Acts 2.

• Children’s Ministry: We have a heart and a passion for children’s ministry here at Jones Chapel. We provide Sunday School and Wednesday night classes, children’s church, Vacation Bible School, nursery, and many activities for our precious children.

• Missions: We believe in the great commission to go into all the world making disciples. We partner with the India Gospel League, a ministry dedicated to meeting the spiritual, physical, and other needs in villages throughout India.

• Beyond the Walls: We believe that the Christian life is more than attending church on Sunday. We want to put our faith into action. We challenge our church family to go out into the community to serve others with the love of Jesus.

Annual event special to our church:

• Fireworks Show – July 9 – The public is invited to come celebrate the freedoms we enjoy in our country and enjoy food and fellowship with a spectacular firework show at dusk.

• Vacation Bible School – 2017 dates to be scheduled.
