Meridian Police Department

The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8:44 a.m. Wednesday and 8:43 a.m. Friday:

• Accessory after the fact – Chester Raymond Dickerson-Kanary, 59, 315 Telephone Road, Houston, Texas.

• Malicious mischief/vandalism – Eddie Durr Jr., 48, 1219 38th Ave., Meridian. Durr is also charged with public drunkenness, disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace and willful trespassing.

• Burglary of dwelling, house – Dylan Ray Sade, 23, 823 Biloxi Drive, Norman, Okla. Sade is also charged with motor vehicle theft.

• Burglary of dwelling, house – Brandon Deanthony Walk, 24, 2716 23rd St., Meridian. Walk is also charged with possession of weapon by felon.

• Driving under the influence (DUI) – James Perdue, born in 1973, 1008 Highway 19 South, Meridian. Perdue is also charged with careless driving.

• DUI – Anna Smith, born in 1987, 1407 22nd Ave. Heights, Meridian. Smith is also charged with possession of marijuana and driving with a suspended license.

• Possession of drug paraphernalia – DeAdrian Hubbard, born in 1978, 3311 First St., Meridian. Hubbard is also charged with no liability insurance, violation of noise ordinance and improper equipment.

• Telephone harassment – Charles Bruck, born in 1991, 2304 Tenth Ave., Meridian.

• Stalking – William Duett, born in 1962, 1616 34th Ave., Meridian.

• 600 block of 13th Avenue, Meridian.

• 2400 block of Highway 19 North, Meridian.

• 100 block of Highway 11/80, Meridian.

Commercial Burglaries

• 200 block of North Hills Street, Meridian.

• 800 block of 18th Avenue South, Meridian.

Residential Burglaries

• 2800 block of 28th Street, Meridian.

• 2400 block of Old Marion Road, Meridian.

• 600 block of Hawkins Crossing Road, Meridian.

• 2200 block of 13th Avenue, Meridian.

Shootings

Meridian Police responded to 2 shots-fired calls but when officers arrived on scene there was not any evidence found to support the calls.

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department

The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests between 8:44 a.m. Thursday and 8:43 a.m. Friday:

• Failure to pay child support – Winston Churchill Joles Jr., 48, 7748 Highway 45 North, Meridian.

• Probation violation/parole – Irvin Andrew Payne, 31, 1309 43rd Ave., Meridian.

• Exploitation of children – William Stephen Robinson, 57, 5616 24th Place, Meridian.

• Fleeing and eluding in a motor vehicle – Dominete M. Tubbs, 25, 1304 45th Ave., Meridian. Tubbs is also charged with seat-belt violation, no license tag, improper equipment, violation of insurance card in vehicle law, driving with a suspended license, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and five counts of disregard of traffic device.
