• Manslaughter, culpable negligence – Vylissia Desire Daniels, 21, 1502 Fifth St., Meridian.

The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests between 8:44 a.m. Wednesday and 8:43 a.m. Thursday:

• Disturbance in a public place – Jimmy Lee Davis, 43, homeless.

• Driving under the influence (DUI), first offense – Leslie Darron Scarbrough, 51, 5720 Haley Road, Meridian.
