MHS COMPETES AT ACADEMIC EVENT

- Submitted photoMeridian High School was among schools represented at the 34th Annual Academic Competition held at Mississippi College. Forty teams began competing on Nov. 1, 2016, and the competition will continue to February. The quiz-like, single-elimination competition is designed with questions developed and tested for the high school level. Scholarships will be awarded to the four teams reaching the semi-finals in February. Meridian competed in the first round but lost to competitor Madison Central.
