Meridian Police Department
The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8:44 a.m. Thursday and 8:43 a.m. Tuesday:
• Driving under the influence (DUI), other substance – Santonio D. Anthony, 20, 2428 Old Marion Road, Meridian. Anthony is also charged with improper equipment, driving without a license, no license tag and possession of marijuana.
• Failure to pay (justice court) – Randrius Qujshawn Bryant, 22, 2633 St. Andrews St., Meridian. Bryant is also charged with disregard of traffic device and driving with a suspended license.
• DUI, first offense – Clifton Earl Burnham, 54, 5520 North Hills St., Meridian. Burnham is also charged with leaving the scene unattended, child neglect, no liability insurance, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, public profanity and simple assault.
• Abusive calls to emergency phone – Danny Dewayne Fitzgerald, 57, 4901 22nd St., Meridian.
• Possession of controlled substance – Dewey Dewayne Grace, 39, 920 30th Ave., Meridian. Grace is also charged with public drunkenness, disorderly conduct and being held for investigation.
• Domestic violence – Carleny Holmes, 49, 351 36th Ave., Meridian.
• Willful trespassing – Dora Keith, 24, 8715 Pine Springs Road, Meridian. Keith is also charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor and simple assault.
• Possession of marijuana – Marshall Moore, 46, 1923 11th Ave., Meridian. Moore is also charged with possession of paraphernalia.
• Simple assault – Janice Chambers, born in 1980, 200 North Hills St., Meridian.
• Disorderly conduct – Lakneau Williams, born in 1993, 1806 16th Ave., Meridian.
• DUI – Willie Reckley, born in 1992, 1803 12th Ave., Meridian. Reckley is also charged with driving without a license.
• Disorderly conduct – Sandra Ruffin, born in 1970, 4819 Manning St., Meridian.
• Petit larceny – Dylan Stephens, born in 1994, 765 Sookalena St., Meridian.
• DUI – Octavious Holt, born in 1996, 1318 19th St., Meridian. Holt is also charged with child endangerment.
• Stalking – Fredrick Franklin, born in 1973, 10815 Woods Road, Meridian.
• Stalking – Denise Ezell, born in 1988, 2016 Mosby Road, Meridian. Ezell is also charged with contempt of court.
• Trespassing – William Smith, born in 1954, 3045 12th Ave., Meridian.
• Telephone harassment – Mercedes Mosley, born in 1995, 2402 D St., Meridian. Mosley is also charged with expired tag.
• DUI – Christopher Edwards, born in 1986, 1220 46th Ave., Meridian. Edwards is also charged with possession of marijuana, no liability insurance and disregard of traffic device.
• Giving false information – Dexter Larkin, born in 1979, 910 Lost Horse Road, Meridian.
• Simple assault – Joseph Rogers, born in 1995, 518 38th Ave., Meridian.
• Armed robbery – Jalon Shepard, born in 2001, 408 Heritage St., Meridian. Shepard is also charged with aggravated assault.
• Fleeing and eluding law enforcement – Jabreon Mosley, born in 1990, 2003 16th Ave., Meridian.

• 1900 block of 36th Avenue, Meridian.
• 500 block of 23rd Avenue, Meridian.
• 900 block of 47th Avenue, Meridian.
• 900 block of 44th Avenue, Meridian.
Meridian Police responded to 25 shots-fired calls but when officers arrived on scene there was not any evidence found to support the calls.
Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department
The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests between 8:44 a.m. Thursday and 8:43 a.m. Tuesday:
• DUI, first offense – Jermaine Deshawn Cole, 35, 1906 26th Ave., Meridian. Cole is also charged with seat-belt violation, expired tag, driving without a license and no liability insurance.
• Willful trespassing – Charlie Louis Covington, 26, 4092 Windsor Road, Meridian. Covington is also charged with disturbance of family and disorderly conduct.
• Possession of paraphernalia – Patrick Edwin Crawley, 43, 3602 Parkway Boulevard, Meridian. Crawley is also charged with disorderly conduct.
• DUI, second offense – Jeffrey Paul Creech, 49, 2946 Russell Camp Road, Meridian.
• Possession of cocaine with intent to distribute – Clinton J. Davis, 32, 1420 13th Ave., Meridian. Davis is also charged with possession of methythenendioxy (ecstasy) and possession of drugs while in possession of firearm.
• DUI, first offense – Demario Denson, 37, 5067 Cawtebury Court, Center Point, Ala. Denson is also charged with careless driving and driving with a suspended license.
• Possession of marijuana in vehicle – Edrishun Glenn, 101 Third Ave. South, Meridian. Glenn is also charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
• DUI, first offense – Cedric Darnell Goree, 31, 1926 25th Ave., Meridian. Goree is also charged with obstructing traffic, driving without a license, no liability insurance, contempt of court, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, felon in possession of a firearm and being held for outside agency.
• Possession of spice – Jessica Marlene Harper, 33, 4491 Church Road, Collinsville.
• Petit larceny – Josh Kent Hendon, 31, 1030 Highway 19 North, Collinsville. Hendon is also charged with failure to appear/bench warrant.
• Willful trespassing – Anthony Bernard Kolp III, 30, 5091 Highway 145, Meridian. Kolp is also charged with disorderly conduct, reckless driving, failure to signal, failure to yield to emergency vehicle, driving with a suspended license, no license tag, violation of insurance card in vehicle law and failure to appear (justice court).
• Petit larceny – Adam Bradley Newell, 31, 7693 Highway 493, Meridian.
• Failure to pay (justice court) – Kennie Nolan, 34, 2610 11th St., Meridian.
• Possession of methamphetamine – Remoan Deshae Pack, 25, 9628 Raymond Cobb Road, Lauderdale. Pack is also charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, burglary of dwelling and being held for investigation.
• Animal cruelty – Dawn Marie Penzetta, 55, 4271 Dogwood Lake Road, Bailey.
• Possession of methamphetamine – Jonathan Ray Scruggs, 29, 2611 Green Loop Road, Meridian. Scruggs is also charged with driving with a suspended license.
• Larceny, less than trespassing – Michael Ranford Sims, 28, 2000 Front St., Meridian.
• Kidnapping – Anthony Taylor, 52, 2206 A Ave., Meridian. Taylor is also charged with probation violation/parole.
• DUI, felony – Tranisha Williams, 19, 1421 26th Ave., Meridian. Williams is also charged with driving with a suspended license and possession of drugs while in possession of firearm.
• Possession of marijuana in vehicle – Brandon David Wilson, 19, 4042 First Place, Meridian. Wilson is also charged with expired tag, improper equipment and two counts of violation of child restraint law.
