Meridian Police Department
The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8:44 a.m. Monday and 8:43 a.m. Tuesday:
• Disorderly conduct – Christian S. Bennett, 31, 1422 18th St., Meridian.
• Armed robbery – Jamonte Jerome Phillips, 20, 4401 40th Ave., Meridian. Phillips is also charged with aggravated assault and motor vehicle theft.
• Disorderly conduct – Jeffery Marcell Sims, 37, 507 Highway 514, Quitman.
• Shooting in the city – Blaine Ross, born in 1988, 5363 Eighth St. Extension, Meridian. Ross is also charged with animal cruelty.
• Malicious mischief – Christopher Butler, born in 1987, 4524 Highway 39, Meridian.
• Petit larceny – Charles Reed Jr., born in 1976, 1109 Sandflat Road, Meridian.
• Simple assault, domestic – Damon Bodley, born in 1976, 5902 North Frontage Road, Meridian.

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department
The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests between 8:44 a.m. Monday and 8:43 a.m. Tuesday:
• Possession of methamphetamine – Tony Carlos Kimble Jr., 20, 2841 Rob Sims Road, Meridian. Kimble is also being held for outside agency.
• Possession of marijuana, first offense – Stephone R. Henderson, 21, 200 23rd St., Meridian. Henderson is also charged with improper equipment and driving without headlights.
• Possession of marijuana in vehicle – Nancy Siera Vanderford, 20, Poverty Hill Plane Road, Natchez.
