Meridian Police Department
The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8:44 a.m. Friday and 8:43 a.m. Monday:
• Driving under the influence (DUI), first offense – Lendrey Darvan Brown, 37, 4803 Hopper St., Meridian.
• Begging – Jason Dewayne Butler, 37, homeless. Butler is also charged with three counts of contempt of court.
• Shoplifting – Randy Campbell, 44, 411 Grandview Circle, Meridian. Campbell is also charged with trespassing, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.
• Burglary of commercial building, cars, etc. – Justin Isaiah Freeze, 21, 277 Betts Ratcliff Road, Meridian. Freeze is also charged with six counts of contempt of court.
• Domestic violence – Rondarian J. Hersey, 22, 8609 King Road, Bailey.
• False reporting of explosives – Lakeith Javo Jones, 26, 2428 Old Marion Road, Meridian.
• Armed robbery – Laderrick Roberts, 24, 1944 Old Marion Road, Meridian.
• Simple assault – Joseph Lashon Rogers, 21, 2704 Valley Road, Meridian.
• DUI, first offense – James Springfellow, 51, 1508 33rd Ave., Meridian. Springfellow is also charged with no liability insurance and child endangerment.
• DUI, second offense – Demetrius Dontez Trussell, 34, 2661 Saint Luke St. Meridian. Trussell is also charged with careless driving, driving without a license and no liability insurance.
• Disturbing the peace – Carryl Nell Waite, 37, 370 Causeyville Road, Meridian. Waite is also charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.
• Malicious mischief/vandalism – Kenyatta T. Walker, 21, 1426 30th Ave., Meridian. Walker is also charged with disturbance in a public place.
• Giving false ID information – Teasia M. Warren, 22, 4524 Highway 39 North, Meridian.
• Possession of stolen firearm – Christopher Ray Winfield, 32, 515 12th Ave., Meridian. Winfield is also charged with disorderly conduct and being held for investigation.
• Shoplifting – Amy Pinkston, born in 1980, 5361 Fisher Road, Meridian.
• Shooting in the city – Antonio Hall, born in 1993, 6401 Cricket Road, Meridian.
• Trespassing – Jamie Clayton, born in 1992, 1944 Old Marion Road, Meridian. Clayton is also charged with disorderly conduct.
• Simple assault, domestic – Jamie Gathright, born in 1966, 2420 34th Ave., Meridian.
• Leaving the scene of an accident – Wayne Ramsey, born in 1963, 3910 50th St., Meridian.
• DUI – Brandon Cook, born in 1986, 5705 14th Place, Meridian. Cook is also charged with speeding.
• DUI – Jeremy Applon, born in 1992, 3408 39th St., Meridian. Applon is also charged with possession of marijuana and violation of noise ordinance.

Bomb Threat
• 2000 block of Highway 45 North, Meridian.
Robberies
• 3500 block of Highway 39 North, Meridian.
• 1700 block of Highway 39 Bypass, Meridian.
Residential Burglary
• 4400 block of King Road, Meridian.
• 4000 block of Paulding Street, Meridian.
• 1600 block of 16th Avenue, Meridian.
• 4500 block of Highway 39 North, Meridian.
Stolen Vehicles
• 1800 block of North Frontage Road, Meridian.
• 1000 block of Bonita Lakes Circle, Meridian.
• 900 block of First Avenue East, Meridian.
Shootings
• 5300 block of Eighth Street Extension, Meridian.
Meridian Police responded to 19 shots-fired calls but when officers arrived on scene there was no evidence found to support the calls.
Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department
The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests between 8:44 a.m. Friday and 8:43 a.m. Monday:
• Possession of marijuana, first offense – Elijah Kyron Agent, 26, 11721 Highway 80 West, Meridian.
• DUI, second offense – Michael Carl Barney, 51, 104 Smith Spur Road, Toomsuba. Barney is also charged with improper equipment, driving with a suspended license and no liability insurance.
• DUI, second offense – Marshall Joseph Barnwell, 64, 1818 29th Ave., Meridian. Barnwell is also charged with seat-belt violation, no license tag, no liability insurance and driving with a suspended license.
• Possession of drugs while in possession of firearm – Keone Quenttrezz Bryant, 32, 5500 Valley Street, Meridian. Bryant is also charged with speeding.
• Probation violation/parole – Jonathan Leneil Courington, 42, 1016 Sixth Ave. South, Columbus.
• Bad check, felony – Blake Dotson, 33, 2511 Highway 417, Brandon.
• Failure to appear (justice court) – Kenneth Christopher Franklin, 46, 1121 46th Ave., Meridian.
• Burglary of commercial building, cars, etc. – Ricky Neal Herrington, 32, 8295 Kewannee Road, Lauderdale. Herrington is also charged with grand larceny and contempt of court.
• Possession of marijuana, first offense – Devonta Latrell Holiday, 21, 1220 Jack Nelson Road, DeKalb.
• Failure to pay child support – Jammie D. Lewis, 36, 110 Glendale St., Jackson. Lewis is also charges with contempt for child support.
• Possession of stolen firearm – John Paul McGarity, 36, 2209 Highway 496, Meridian. McGarity is also charged with felon in possession of firearm and possession of drugs while in possession of firearm.
• Possession of marijuana, first offense – Devonkias Vontias Mosley, 21, 7713 Lauderdale Toomsuba Road, Toomsuba.
• DUI, second offense – Gary Bernard Payton, 54, 1612 Willow Lake Road, Toomsuba. Payton is also charged with driving with a suspended license and failure to pay (justice court).
• Probation violation/parole – Robert James Pruitt, 24, 200 23rd St., Meridian.
• Violation of compulsory school attendance law – Stacy Renee Thompson, 45, 320 Braggs Road, Meridian.
• Simple assault, attempt to create fear – Tina Weir, 35, 5223 Mini Farm Road, Meridian.
