Pizza lovers in the Meridian area will soon have another option when it comes to their favorite dish.
Domino’s, located at 2535 A. North Hill St., will unveil its newly relocated ‘pizza theater’ on Monday.
The store, which used to be located at 4622 Poplar Springs Drive, sports Domino’s new design, which allows flexibility for a number of elements otherwise unheard of when it comes to the traditional Domino’s store.
Highlights include a comfortable lobby, open-area viewing of the food preparation process, the ability to track carryout orders electronically on a lobby screen and a drive-thru.
The store also has chalkboards to allow customers to express their creativity or to leave feedback for the store team members.
“It’s a more customer-friendly environment,” said Charleston Murphy, the store’s general manager. “With more open space, customers will get to interact more.”
“We are dedicated to the Meridian area and are excited to bring the pizza theater concept to local residents,” said Glenn Mueller, Meridian Domino’s franchise owner. “Our newly designed stores are open-concept and allow customers to watch their pizza being made, each step of the way. Domino’s is bringing the art and fun of pizza making to the forefront.”
Monday’s grand opening includes give-aways of pizza (in the form of gift certificates) to the first 50 carryout customers that day, according to a news release. The first 25 carryout customers will win free pizza for a year (12 large one-topping pizzas). The next 15 carryout customers will win free pizza for a month (four large one-topping pizzas). The following 10 will win one free medium one-topping pizza.
