Meridian Police Department
The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8:44 a.m. Tuesday and 8:43 a.m. Wednesday:
• Simple assault, domestic – Mark Anthony Deleon, 48, 3416 18th Ave., Meridian.
• Possession of stolen firearm, two counts – Jadarius Landrum, 20, 2401 16th Ave., Meridian.
• Simple assault, attempt to create fear – Charles A. Lister, 65, 3510 12th St., Meridian.
• Petit larceny, two counts – Kentrese D. Mosley, 33, 509 45th Ave., Meridian. Mosley is also charged with simple assault, domestic.
• Driving under the influence (DUI), first offense – Lamarcus Hanes, born in 1989, 523 56th Ave., Meridian. Hanes is also charged with driving without a license and driving without headlights.
• Carrying concealed weapon – Demoniko Currie, born in 1998, 1931 25th Ave., Meridian.

Auto Burglary
• 1500 block of 49th Avenue, Meridian.
Shootings
Meridian Police responded to 3 shots-fired calls but when officers arrived on scene there was no evidence found to support the calls.
Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department
The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests between 8:44 a.m. Tuesday and 8:43 a.m. Wednesday:
• Probation violation/parole – Ivy Ann Baker, 24, 16134 Lincoln Ave., East Point, Mich.
• Probation violation/parole – Lacy Jae Geisler, 33, 1471 Long Creek Road, Meridian.
