Meridian Police Department

The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8:44 a.m. Friday and 8:43 a.m. Monday:

• Armed robbery – Deangelo Flowers, born in 1997, 200 Ruth St., Newton. Flowers is also charged with aggravated assault and conspiracy to commit a felony.

• Driving under the influence, other substance – Marcus Glenn, born in 1986, 2328 32nd Avenue, Meridian. Glenn is also charged with speeding.

• DUI, first offense – Arthur Edwards, born in 1990, 2647 St. Luke St., Meridian. Edwards is also charged with driving without a license, burglary of a dwelling and disregard of traffic device.

• Disorderly conduct – Mary Christina Robertson, born in 1996, 1004 15th St., Meridian.

• DUI – Scotashia Jones, born in 1980, 2526 35th Ave., Meridian.

• DUI – Mark Hood, born in 1994, 903 31st St., Meridian. Hood is also charged with no liability insurance.

• DUI – Shelley Rose, born in 1970, 3430 Poplar Springs Drive, Meridian.

• Failure to pay child support – Troy E. Smith, born in 1970, 5283 Henderson Road, Meridian. Smith is also being held for outside agency.

Incident Reports

The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents from Friday through Sunday:

Commercial Burglary

• 3700 block of Eighth Street, Meridian.

Robberies

• 400 block of Lake Drive, Meridian.

• Russell Drive at Highway 39 Bypass, Meridian.

• 700 block of 23rd Avenue, Meridian.

Residential Burglaries

• 3400 block of Ray Street, Meridian.

• 4200 block of Terry Street, Meridian.

Shootings

Meridian Police responded to 6 shots-fired calls but when officers arrived on scene there was no evidence found to support the calls.

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department

The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests between 8:44 a.m. Friday and 8:43 a.m. Monday:

• Possession of controlled substance – Dante Lewis Dolson, born in 1969, 5316 Vista Verde, Arlington, Texas.

• DUI, first offense – Thomas Leon Jackson III, born in 1994, 3379 Lauderdale Road, Lauderdale. Jackson is also charged with improper equipment and obstructing traffic.

• Disorderly conduct – William Bradley Johnson, born in 1985, 4333 Dr. Brock Road, Meridian. Johnson is also charged with driving with a suspended license.

• Disorderly conduct – Jeffery Neal, born in 1974, 1147 Sandflat Road, Meridian.

• Domestic violence – Stephen Paul Skinner, born in 1984, 169 Wolfe Spring Trail, Meridian.

• Simple assault, attempt to create fear – Lakisha M. Thompson, born in 1985, 2015 Mulsberry Road, Meridian.
