The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8:44 a.m. Monday and 8:43 a.m. Tuesday:

• Shoplifting – Breanna Roshell Smith, 23, 2112 16th Ave., Meridian.

• Shoplifting – Renwick Overland, born in 1971, 921 Prismatic Road, DeKalb.

Stolen Vehicle

• 1400 block of Roebuck Drive, Meridian.

Shootings

Meridian Police responded to 3 shots-fired calls but when officers arrived on scene there was no evidence found to support the calls.

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department

The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests between 8:44 a.m. Monday and 8:43 a.m. Tuesday:

• Simple assault, attempt to create fear – Gregory Rondale Bailey, 45, 10693 Gilbert Joyner Road, Meridian.

• Trespassing – Joseph Cody Carlisle, 27, 425 Grand Oak Drive, Meridian. Carlisle is also charged with stalking and telephone harassment.

• Simple assault, attempt to create fear – Willie Edward Cherry, 48, 4015 Old Rock Road, Porterville.

• Probation violation/parole – Damien Demond Collins, 32, 618 52nd Ave., Meridian.

• Shooting into a vehicle – Jeffrey Wade Freeman, 43, 8446 East Parkway South, Lauderdale. Freeman is also charged with felony domestic violence.

• Simple assault, domestic – Brooke Lashea Pena, 22, 6950 Clarkdale Road, Meridian.

• Disorderly conduct – Stephen Blake Pena, 26, 6950 Clarkdale Road, Meridian. Pena is also being held for investigation.
