Town of Marion alderwomen participate in Municipal League classes

Two Town of Marion Alderwomen recently participated in a Mississippi Municipal League’s evening class.

The Center for Government & Community Development had a series of elective classes in three areas of the state. Class topic was the “Do’s and Don’ts Of Your Last Year in Office.”

Marion’s Bernice Martin attended a class in Hattiesburg and Rita S. Rawson attended a session in Oxford. Both Martin and Rawson are members of the Mississippi Municipal League and will be running for re-election in 2017.

The Center for Government & Community Development had a series of elective classes which were held in three different locations across the state.
