Meridian Police Department

The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8:44 a.m. Tuesday and 8:43 a.m. Wednesday:

• Burglary of dwelling, house – Will Davis, 18, 5315 Manning St., Meridian.

• Disorderly conduct – William W. Duett, 54, 1616 34th Ave., Meridian.

• Public drunkenness – Kenneth Dewayne Sheffield, 51, 3920 Fifth St., Meridian.

• Burglary of dwelling, house – Isaiah Townsend, 18, 3113 Valley St., Meridian.

• Disorderly conduct – Charles Boulware, born in 1960, 222 Hillcrest Drive, Meridian.

Auto Burglaries

• 500 block of 17th Avenue, Meridian.

• 1700 block of 23rd Avenue, Meridian.

Residential Burglary

• 4300 block of Country Club Drive, Meridian.

Robberies

• 700 block of Front Street, Meridian.

• 1600 block of 14th Street, Meridian.

Shootings

• 2000 block of 24th Street, Meridian.

Meridian Police responded to 6 shots-fired calls but when officers arrived on scene there was no evidence to support the calls.

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department

The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests between 8:44 a.m. Tuesday and 8:43 a.m. Wednesday:

• Driving under the influence (DUI), second offense – Shantrail Demetrius Cole, 34, 200 23rd St., Meridian. Cole is also charged with disregard of traffic device, driving without a license, violation of insurance card in vehicle law and contempt of court.

• DUI, first offense – Jonathan Bradford Cotton, 23, 3799 Mills Road, Conehatta. Cotton is also charged with careless driving and violation of insurance card in vehicle law.

• Possession of marijuana, first offense – Brenden Chance Gillinski, 18, 1292 Aycock Road, Meridian. Gillinski is also charged with expired tag, no liability insurance and driving without a license.

• Probation violation/parole – Christopher Rashad Heidelberg, 28, 3430 KOA Campground Road, Meridian.

• DUI, first offense – Frederick Johnson, 42, 1985 Long Creek Vimville Road, Meridian.

• Shoplifting, first offense – Sharon Paige Lang, 48, 506 Rose Bluff Drive, Madison.
