Meridian Police Department
The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8:44 a.m. Friday and 8:43 a.m. Monday:
• Driving under the influence (DUI), first offense – Jose H. Aguinag, 22, 200 North Hills St., Meridian. Aguinag is also charged with careless driving.
• DUI, first offense – Leon Rayshon Sheffield, 56, 3920 Fifth St., Meridian. Sheffield is also charged with no liability insurance and no license tag.
• Probation violation/parole – Fredrick Dewayne Cockrell, 35, 2427 St. Francis, Meridian.
• DUI, other substance – Shirita Croft, 28, 2312 32nd St., Meridian. Croft is also charged with careless driving, disregard of traffic device, no liability insurance and driving without a license.
• Domestic violence – Samuel Edwards, 43, 3117 Valley St., Meridian. Edwards is also charged with giving false ID information.
• Receiving stolen property – John Sims, born in 1978, 3816 33rd St., Meridian.
• DUI, first offense – Marla Robinson, born in 1993, 3141 Alpine Way, Meridian. Robinson is also charged with speeding and refusal to stop for police.
• DUI, first offense – Judy Gray, born in 1953, 6333 Fisher Road, Meridian.
• DUI, first offense – Kim Walker, born in 1985, 1719 Keith Jones Road, Meridian.
• Simple assault, domestic – Lee Bebley, born in 1997, 2816 Old Marion Road, Meridian.
• DUI, first offense – Cristobal Gomez, born in 1983, 4534 Quail Run Road, Meridian.
• DUI – Cody Barker, born in 1991, 566 Pippins Road, Meridian.

Auto Burglary
• 6100 block of Highway 80 West, Meridian.
Stolen Vehicle
• 400 block of 22nd Avenue, Meridian.
Residential Burglary
• 5600 block of Mayo Court, Meridian.
Robbery
• 2200 block of 33rd Avenue, Meridian.
Shootings
Meridian Police responded to five shots-fired calls but when officers arrived on scene there was no evidence to support the calls.
Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department
The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests between 8:44 a.m. Friday and 8:43 a.m. Monday:
• Disturbance of family – Timothy E. Alexander, 54, 2081 Pigford Road, Meridian.
• Domestic violence – Brian Lee Clayton, 34, 383 Briarwood road, Meridian. Clayton is also charged with trespassing.
• DUI, first offense – Devontae Vontrez Darden, 21, 4087 York Road, Toomsuba. Darden is also charged with possession of stolen firearm, no liability insurance, driving without a license, possession of marijuana in vehicle, failure to signal, disregard of traffic device, careless driving, littering and failure to yield to blue lights/siren.
• Probation violation/parole – Ashley Nigel Grayson, 38, 2147 Goodhope Knox Road, Meridian.
• Possession of marijuana, first offense – William Chase Henderson, 20, 8904 Lake Flora Drive, Lauderdale.
• Simple assault, domestic – David Shaun Hill, 36, 10841 Highway 495, Meridian.
• Probation violation/parole – Aaron Deonte Lard, 21, 4809 Windermere Terrence, Jackson.
• Bad check, felony – Nathaniel Lewis, 68, 7606 Pine Springs Road, Meridian.
• Telephone harassment – Richard Joe Savell Jr., 34, 5070 Good Water Road, Enterprise. Savell is also charged with failure to pay (justice court).
• DUI, other substance – Sabrazia Marsha Wallace, 20, 335 Greenhill Road, Toomsuba. Wallace is also charged with seat-belt violation and driving without a license.
• DUI, other substance – Jimmy Dwayne Williams, 53, 139 County Road 167, Quitman. Williams is also charged with leaving the scene of an accident, driving with a suspended license, no liability insurance and expired tag.
