Randy Reeves, Executive Director of the Mississippi Veterans Affairs Board, was elected and installed as the 69th President of the National Association of State Directors of Veterans Affairs (NASDVA) at its annual convention. Commander Reeves, USN (Ret.), will lead NASDVA as it continues to serve and advocate for our Nation’s 21 million Veterans. As a leader and officer in NASDVA, he has routinely represented the views of NASDVA and its members (50 states, District of Columbia and five territories) before Congress, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and national Veterans Service Organizations. Outgoing NASDVA President, David Brasuell, commended Reeves for his outstanding service and leadership for America’s Veterans.

Reeves, a native of Newton County, served his country in uniform for over 27 years and is a Veteran of Operation Desert Storm, Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom.
