Meridian Police Department

The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8:44 a.m. Friday and 8:43 a.m. Monday:

• Domestic violence – Joel A. Caton, 42, 4825 37th Ave., Meridian.

• Burglary of dwelling, house – Kamayi Cole, 22, 7100 Old Highway 80 West, Meridian.

• Felon in possession of a firearm – Tony Carlos Kimble Jr., 20, 2841 Rob Sims Road, Meridian. Kimble is also charged with carrying a concealed weapon, possession of marijuana in vehicle, giving false ID information and trespassing.

• False pretense – Sherah Tikesha Naylor, 35, 918 Rubush Ave., Meridian.

• Shoplifting – Michael D. Neal, 52, 4614 Arthur St., Meridian.

• Simple assault, domestic – Rashad Eamon Ruffin, 24, 116 Sixth St., Meridian.

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department

The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests between 8:44 a.m. Friday and 8:43 a.m. Monday:

• Utility theft – Bertis Andre Downing, 57, 1340 John C. Stennis Road, Lauderdale.

• Probation violation/parole – Sanduan Artez Dubose, 33, 1438 46th Ave., Meridian. Dubose is also charged with contempt for child support.

• Burglary of commercial building, cars, etc., three counts – James Terrell Dunn, 33, 2216 39th Ave., Meridian. Dunn is also being held for outside agency.

• Possession of marijuana – Tynejaris Jarrant Finley, 28, 2514 Grandview Ave., Meridian. Finley is also charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

• Driving under the influence (DUI), first offense – Jesus Ramirez Gonzaloz, 20, 205 Highway 45 North, Meridian. Gonzaloz is also charged with following too closely, expired license tag and driving without a license.

• Disorderly conduct – Robert Lee Gowdy, 57, 1120 Eighth Ave., Meridian.

• Obtaining controlled substance by fraudulent means, five counts – Ashley Lorene Hamrick, 26, 4387 County Road 320, Enterprise. Hamrick is also charged with conspiracy to obtain controlled substance by fraud and conspiracy to commit a felony.

• DUI, first offense – Anthony J. Hanible, 40, 4403 12th St., Meridian. Hanible is also charged with failure to dim headlights, driving without a license and no liability insurance.

• DUI, first offense – Jonathan Franklin Hunter, 30, 3315 North Hills St., Meridian. Hunter is also charged with careless driving and no liability insurance.

• DUI, first offense – Lawson Dexter Jones, 21, 746 Aycock Road, Meridian.

• Trespassing – Andrae Martell Lewis, 29, 1334 John C. Stennis Road, Lauderdale.

• DUI, first offense – Mitchell Maurice Littleton, 25, 3011 36th Ave., Meridian. Littleton is also charged with careless driving and disorderly conduct.

• Burglary of commercial building, cars, etc., three counts – Monique Latrice Newton, 33, 2216 39th Ave., Meridian. Newton is also being held for outside agency.

• Disorderly conduct – Zackary T. Parker, 18, 134 McKenzie Lane, Enterprise.

• Failure to pay (justice court) – Hakeem Lashun Perry, 23, 1914 29th Ave., Meridian.

• Probation violation/parole – Jonathan Smallwood, 41, 1207 Big Cedar Lane, Denison, Texas.

• Simple assault causing bodily injury – James Craig Smith, 23, 4861 Valley Road, Meridian.

• Probation violation/parole – William Kent Spears, 56, 4308 Hooper St., Meridian. Spears is also charged with improper equipment, driving with a suspended license and no liability insurance.

• Fleeing and eluding in a motor vehicle accident – Donald Dewayne Toole, 29, 2803 Saint Andrews, Meridian. Toole is also charged with careless driving, improper equipment, no liability insurance, driving without a license, disregard of traffic device, seat-belt violation, leaving the scene of an accident, possession of marijuana in vehicle, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
