Emma Noël Benton of Laurel Hill and Frank Perron Achorn III of Meridian were married in a 6:30 p.m. ceremony Saturday, June 25, 2016, at Grace Church of West Feliciana Parish. The Rev. Kirkland “Skully” Knight officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Mrs. James Dudley Benton and the late Mr. Benton. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bertram F. Babers III of Laurel Hill and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph H. Benton Sr.  

The bridegroom is the son of Mr. Frank P. Achorn Jr. and Ms. Vickie Achorn of Meridian. He is the grandson of Mrs. Frank P. Achorn Sr. of Florence, Ala., the late Mr. Achorn, the late Mrs. Jane Achorn, the late Ms. Rita Shockley and the late Mr. Ray W. Shockley Sr.

The bride was attended by her matron of honor, Cary Benton Fitzmorris. Bridesmaids were Alyson Benton Curry, Hallet Elaine Dunn, Kelly Geiger Forcht, Ann Benton Fraser, Katherine Reid Fremin, Nancy Benton Roberts and Leah Christia Willis. Flower girls were Caroline Grace Curry and Frances Emma Roberts.

The bridegroom was attended by his best man, Ted Glen Achorn Jr. Groomsmen were James Michael Benton, William Babers Benton, Brian Michael Nanney, Warren Clint Nanney, Jason Robert Riley, Jared Reid Sheffer, William Steven White Jr., John Edwin Wolff and Richard James Zurak Jr.

A reception was held at Rosemound Plantation, Laurel Hill.
