1 person dead following semitrailer crash on highway

MORTON, Miss. (AP) — One person has died and another has been injured following a semitrailer crash on Interstate 20 in Morton.
Multiple media outlets report that the crash happened Sunday afternoon.

The truck, which was hauling frozen food, crashed into trees and went up in flames. Officials say they were having trouble extinguishing the fire because of the hot weather.
Morton Police Department chief Nicky Crapps says authorities have not determined the cause of the crash.
