The Sun Herald (http://bit.ly/1YqpLIu) reports he will be in Long Beach on Saturday to play a free concert at On A Roll Sushi from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. in the restaurant’s patio. Fans are invited to bring lawn chairs and set up in the parking lot of the barber shop next door.

Whitney Sartin, who owns the restaurant, and her father, Craig Sartin of Sartin’s Discount Drugs, took advantage of a family connection to bring Wakefield’s bluegrass sound to the Coast.

Wakefield will be doing a meet and greet about 6 p.m. before the show.

Sartin also plans to raffle off a signed guitar from Wakefield, as well as some other items. And Wild at Heart Rescue will offer photos with a boa constrictor for $5 that will help the rescue organization.

“There’ll be lots going on,” Sartin said. “Bring a chair and come on down!”
