The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 8:44 a.m. Friday and 8:43 a.m. Monday:

• Driving under the influence (DUI), first offense – Brandy L. Matthews, 35, 2506 24th Ave., Meridian. Matthews is also charged with violation of insurance card in vehicle law.

• Simple assault on a minor, two counts – Lasheena J. Huff, 31, 107 71st Place, Meridian.

• Failure to pay (justice court) – Purvis Jermaine Burrage, 34, 101 29th Ave., Meridian.

• Failure to appear (justice court), three counts – Maurice Edward Eason, 24, 2003 16th Ave., Meridian. Eason is also being held for outside agency.

• Disorderly conduct – Christal R. Edwin-Grace, 41, 3112 Valley St., Meridian.

• DUI, first offense – Jerome L. McCoy, 25, 2520 17th Ave., Meridian. McCoy is also charged with careless driving, driving without a license and possession of controlled substance.

• Disorderly conduct – Jermaine Marquez Ramsey, 19, 557 Sweetgum Bottom Road, Meridian. Ramsey is also charged with resisting arrest.

• Disorderly conduct, two counts – Sandra Michelle Ruffin, 46, 4819 Manning St., Meridian. Ruffin is also charged with public drunkenness and public profanity.

• Probation violation/parole – Delontay Preston Scott, 24, 4432 19th St., Meridian. Scott is also charged with contempt of court.

• Disorderly conduct – Kenyatta T. Walker, 21, 1426 30th Ave., Meridian.

• Aggravated assault, domestic – Mildred J. Gordon, born in 1953, 4901 14th St., Meridian.

• DUI – Derek E. Robinson, born in 1982, 1015 County Road 130, Meridian.

• Disorderly conduct, two counts – Edward T. Odom, born in 1976, 3808 37th St., Meridian.

• DUI – Alex Sunego, born in 1990, 1622 15th St., Meridian.

• Shoplifting – Michael Taylor, born in 1994, 1713 Stephens Road, Meridian.

• Begging – Matthew Buie, born in 1986, 4658 Zero Road, Meridian.

• Stalking, two counts – Sheena A. Davis, born in 1982, 413 39th Ave., Meridian.

• Public drunkenness – Stacey Geiden, born in 1967, 8860 Chapil Road, Meridian.

• DUI – Samarcus K. Bester, born in 1993, 63 West Fourth Ave., Meridian.

• DUI – Kevin A. Shawyer, born in 1984, 10415 Rabbit Road, Meridian.

• Interfering with police – LeShandra R. Scott, born in 1990, 4111 Tenth St., Meridian. Scott is also charged with resisting arrest.

• DUI – Anastasia C. Poffahl, born in 1990, 11808 Hand Road, Meridian.

• DUI – Tramine K. Walker, born in 1990, 1535 Ridge Drive, Meridian.

• DUI – Anterrian D. Martin, born in 1993, 201 Boose Road, Meridian.

Meridian Police responded to 17 shots-fired call but when officers arrived on the scene there was not any evidence found to support the call.

The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests between 8:44 a.m. Friday and 8:43 a.m. Monday:

• Telephone harassment – Victoria Reeder Crocker, 32, 7309 Highway 489, Conehatta.

• Possession of methamphetamine – Stephanie Dawn Compton, 40, 23 Oka-Hatchee Circle, Fort Walton Beach, Fla.

• Simple assault causing bodily injury – Desiree Clary, 30, 759 Ewen Road, Meridian.

• Conspiracy – Vanoy Francino Adams, 22, 4314 20th St., Meridian.

• DUI, first offense – Edmund Anthony Edwards, 31, 1426 Firetower Road, Meridian. Edwards is also charged with seat-belt violation and no liability insurance.

• DUI, first offense – Catherine Renee Gilliland, 29, 4900 Pear Ridge Drive, Dallas, Texas.

• DUI, first offense – Cedric Tyrone Gordon, 45, 202 47th Ave., Meridian. Gordon is also charged with seat-belt violation, no liability insurance and driving with a suspended license.

• DUI, first offense – Taruarus Santa Grace, 38, 2115 34th Ave., Meridian. Grace is also charged with child endangerment.

• DUI, other substance – Dexter Deveon Griffin, 23, 3003 Grandview Ave., Meridian. Griffin is also charged with improper equipment.

• Conspiracy – Toreno Lashun Griffin, 35, 2615 40th Ave., Meridian.

• DUI, first offense – Robert E. Guthrie Jr., 52, 5917 Highway 145, Meridian.

• Simple assault on a minor – Jasmine Moniquie Phillips, 24, 705 17th St., Meridian. Phillips is also charged with petit larceny.

• Burglary of dwelling, house – Angela Carol Quigley, 43, 1744 George Butler Road, Meridian.

• Embezzlement – Suzanne Amy Roberts, 44, 249 Red Allan Road, Brandon.

• DU, first offense – Tracy Lee Sullivan Jr., 55, 2371 Jeff Davis School Road, Meridian. Sullivan is also charged with no liability insurance.

• DUI, first offense – Zederick Reuarltean Townsend, 40, 1610 29th Ave., Toomsuba. Townsend is also charged with improper equipment, switched tag/license plate and probation violation/parole.

• Burglary of dwelling, house – Bradley Howell Wilkerson, 30, 25 18th St., Santa Rosa Beach, Fla. Wilkerson is also being held for outside agency.
