HAGWOOD PROMOTED AT MDOT

- Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT) Enforcement Sergeant Marty Hagwood, pictured with Chief Willie Huff, Director of MDOT Enforcement, was recently promoted to lieutenant in the Newton Enforcement District. His duties include managing MDOT inspection stations and portable officers in the Newton District, consisting of 13 counties in the east central portion of the state. The MDOT Office of Enforcement’s primary responsibility is the regulation and safe operation of commercial motor vehicles on state and federal highways. Along with preserving Mississippi’s transportation infrastructure, these laws and regulations help further MDOT’s efforts to reduce crashes, injuries and fatalities.
