Investigators with the Meridian Police Department are looking for a suspect in a hit-and-run accident that happened early Monday morning.

    Meridian Police Department Detective Dareall Thompson said the accident happened around 8 a.m. at the intersection of State Boulevard and 30th Street. According to Thompson, a red Honda was hit by a white car, and the white car left the scene.

    Two people suffered minor injuries, Thompson said.
