NORTHWEST MIDDLE TOPS AT STATE EVENT

The Robotics Club from Northwest Middle School recently won third place in a statewide competition! The team earned third place in the middle school division of the underwater robotics competition held in Starkville. They were also awarded the “Rookie Team of the Year” award from among all of the middle and high school teams competing. The Robotics Team was formed just this year, and this was the teams second competition. The Award Winning Robotics Team from Northwest Middle School is: front row, from left, Nishauntrae Blanks, Malachi Estes, Henry Zheng, Kynidi Dorris and Kayiana Jasper; back row, from left, Desaree Ford, Donnie Roberson, Devontae Hunter, Korey Cistrunk, Cameron Haralson, Imari Cistrunk and Daniel Roberts (Northwest teacher and Robotics Club sponsor).
