Martha Ann Huggins went home to be with the Lord on Good Friday, March 24, 2016, in Nashville, Tenn., where she lost the fight to cancer. She was a loving daughter, mother and grandmother who was selfless until the Good Lord called her home. She loved gardening especially her azaleas. She always was willing to cook a big southern style meal anytime a friend or family came to visit. Before her retirement, she worked diligently as a Lab Technician at Jeff Anderson Medical Center in Meridian.

She is preceded in death by her two brothers, Thomas Michael Denton and Charles Douglas Denton.

She was the daughter of Eula Mae Denton “Coot”; sister of Sandra Gail Dotson “Sissy” and husband Frank; children include, Tammy Lynn Faucette and husband David, James Henry Peninger Jr. “Bubba”; grandchildren include, Bliss Runnels and husband Jeffrey, Dalton, Abbi, and Colton Peninger and Elizabeth Lee Faucette.

She always wished and spoke about making it to The Smokey Mountains, but her illness made it very difficult to do so. There will be a private memorial service with immediate family at The Smokey Mountains in honor of the beautiful lady who so many loved and cared for.
