Miss Buckley, Mr. Duckworth

       Mary Buckley of Brandon announces the engagement of her daughter, Alanna, to Eric Duckworth, son of Ronald and Donna Duckworth.

    The wedding will be Saturday, May 7, 2016, at 3 p.m. at Saint Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Hattiesburg, with the Rev. Father Tommy Conway and the Rev. Father P.J. Curley officiating.

    The bride-elect is also the daughter of the late Daniel Buckley.

    Miss Buckley is the granddaughter of the late John and Rita Stegall of Vicksburg and the late Arthur and Caroline Buckley of Rolling Fork.

    The bride-elect is a graduate of St. Aloysius High School in Vicksburg and the University of Southern Mississippi, where she received a bachelor of arts and master of science degree in speech pathology.

    Miss Buckley is employed by Amedisys Home Health as a speech pathologist in Foley, Ala.

    Mr. Duckworth is the grandson of Mrs. Marie Boren and the late Lamar Boren of Meridian and Mrs. Elaine Duckworth and the late Robert Duckworth of Nashville, Tenn.

    The bridegroom-elect is a graduate of Northeast Lauderdale High School and the University of Southern Mississippi, where she received a bachelor of science degree in business administration.

    Mr. Duckworth is employed by Kellogg’s as a sales representative in Mobile, Ala.

    A reception will be held at The Venue in downtown Hattiesburg. Family and friends are invited to attend.
