Erin Hamilton and Cory Bass were married Saturday, Dec. 19, 2015, at First Baptist Church of Brandon, with the Rev. Dr. Scott Thomas officiating.

    Parents of the couple are Steve and Lisa Hamilton of Brandon and Joseph Jr. and Susan Bass of Meridian.

    Grandparents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. James Bailey of Brandon, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Middleton of Brandon and Mrs. Annell Hamilton and the late Bobby Hamilton of Flowood.

    Grandparents of the bridegroom are Joe A. and Virginia Covington of Meridian and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Bass Sr.

    The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a formal ivory gown of lace with full-length sleeves that flowed into a cathedral-length veil.

    Serving as maid of honor was Elizabeth Rogers of Brandon.

    Other bridesmaids were Amanda Leigh of Pelahatchie, Samantha Olivent of Nesbit and Kimberly Williams of Madison.

    Serving as best man was Cody Eakes of Meridian.

    Groomsmen were Jody Bass of Meridian, Alex Hamilton of Brandon and Bo Bilello of Enterprise.

    Cole Gressett of Brandon, Bailey McCarver of Brandon and Jordan Taylor of Brandon served as greeters.

    Following the ceremony, a cozy, winter, vintage-inspired reception was held at McClain Lodge in Brandon. The couple left to a snowfall send off then drove away in a vintage Cadillac belonging to the grandfather of the bridegroom.

    After a honeymoon in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Georgia, the couple resides in Brandon.
