Mike and Gayle Queen of Meridian will celebrate their 35th wedding anniversary on Sunday, Jan. 24, 2016, with a trip to Vicksburg. On Jan. 24, 1981, the couple eloped and married at 1:15 a.m. at their preacher’s house. They have five children and eight grandchildren. Mrs. Queen is the former Gayle Gilley of Otway, Ohio.
