Meridian Police Department
The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 6:00 a.m. Friday and 6:00 a.m. Monday.
Misdemeanors
• Shoplifting – Mandy B. Holmes, born in 1992, 71 Magazine St., Meridian.
• Shoplifting – Willie Burrage, born in 1980, 2911 21st St., Meridian.
• Shoplifting – Jessica S. Gressett, born in 1989, 3907 69th Ave., Meridian.
• Simple Assault – Robert E. Lee, born in 1963, homeless, Meridian.
• Trespassing – Michael C. Fortner, born in 1986, 8038 Lauderdale-Toomsuba Rd., Meridian.
• Disturbance of a business – Teraze P. Thompson, born in 1991, 2405 Highway 28 East, Meridian. Thompson is also charged with simple assault.
• Giving false information – Kerry Williams, born in 1986, 2909 Edgewood Dr., Meridian. Williams is also charged with simple assault domestic (two counts).
• Driving under the influence (DUI) – Arico J. Johnson, born in 1991, 720 26th St., Meridian.
• Driving under the influence (DUI) – Belinda D. Logan, born in 1984, 301 63rd Pl., Meridian.
• Drug paraphenalia – Jill Bridges, born in 1981, 1361 7th St., Meridian.
• Shoplifting – Joe A. Griffin, born in 1959, 4009 5th St., Meridian.
Felonies
• Aggravated assault – Patrick E. Battle, born in 1970, 2304 2nd Ave., Meridian. Battle is also charged with felon carrying a concealed weapon.
• Taking away of a motor vehicle – Khameron M. Leflora, born in 1983, 8699 King Rd., Meridian.

The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents from Friday to Monday:
Auto Burglary
• 1900 block of B Street, Meridian.
Residential Burglaries
• 2300 Block of 32nd Street, Meridian.
• 1200 Block of 37th Avenue, Meridian.
Robberies
• 5900 Block of Highway 80 West, Meridian.
• 1000 Block of 18th Street, Meridian.
Shootings
• 4400 Block of Terry Street, Meridian.
• 1600 Block of 8th Avenue, Meridian.
• 2700 Block of State Blvd., Meridian.
• Meridian Police responded to 14 shots fired calls. Officers were unable to find evidence to support the calls.
