Ledarius Brewer poured in 27 points and pulled down 13 rebounds to help lift Meridian High School past Osceola High School (Fla.) 61-54 in the Chick-Fil-A Invitational Wednesday.

The Wildcats (16-2) went 3-1 in the invitational.

Meridian led 26-21 at the half.

Tyron Brewer, Ledarius’ brother, recorded 13 points and seven rebonds, and David McCoy had eight points. Both players came off the bench for the Wildcats.

Meridian will be back in action Tuesday when it open region play at Petal.
