Police: Trio arrested for stealing Christmas gifts from home

OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss. (AP) — Three people have been arrested in connection with an Ocean Springs home break-in and theft of Christmas presents and other items.

Police Capt. William Jackson tells the Sun Herald (http://bit.ly/1YTWK6F) that police were notified of the burglary on Friday. He says thieves broke into the home through a window and took items that had been bought as Christmas presents.

Jackson says an investigation lead to the arrests of 20-year-old Tanner Schaefer, 38-year-old Lisa Marie Burge Ross and 18-year-old Dakota Cheyene Ross. All were arrested on residential burglary charges.

Bonds have not been set for the suspects at this time. It isn’t clear if they have attorneys.
