The Mississippi Council of the Navy League held its annual meeting recently at Northwood Country Club. The meeting also included the selection of new officers for 2016 which included Mike Reed, left, outgoing president of the Mississippi Area Navy League; Eddie Kelly, incoming president; Mike Bennett, first vice president; and Bill Hannah, secretary. Not pictured are Brandon Pratt, treasurer; Hal Cooper, new board member; Karmyn Norwood, new board member; and Bob Huff and Kelly Pollard, both renewed board seats. During the evening, the Navy League honored Sailors, Marines and Instructors of the Year at Naval Air Station Meridian and all its tenant commands.
