Christine “Chris” Omeria Spears McNeel

    Graveside services for Christine McNeel will be held Friday at 3 p.m. at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Bailey, with James F. Webb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

    Ms. McNeel died Nov. 10, 2010, at her home in Pelham, Ala. and was cremated at that time. She was born to Josie Mae Drake Spears and William Tom Spears near Meridian. She

completed her master’s degree in dietary sciences at Ole Miss in her 50s.

    She was preceded in death by her  seven siblings and her husband, Wilson Dee McNeel.
