    10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. – First Assembly Meridian will host “Strut Your Mutt” behind the church on Highway 19 next to Marvins. Registration $10 per dog. Parade and contest. Rain or shine. For more information call Eric Ferry 601-678-9885.

    12-3 p.m. – Old Enterprise Baptist Church, 319 South Street, will have their Annual Fall Festival. Songs/prayers of thanksgiving, displays, fun activities, fried fish with all the trimmings and hotdogs. Admission is free.

    9 a.m. – The Missionary Society of Savannah Grove Baptist Church, 6218 D St., will have a prayer breakfast.

    9 a.m.-2 p.m. – The Episcopal Church of the Mediator will have their 46th Annual BBQ. Chicken/pork plates – $7. Pre-ordered Boston Butts $25. Éclairs, bakery treats and other specialties. Fun activities for all ages.
