Mr. Andy McLaughlin & Mrs. Regina Vail of Meridian announce the engagement of their daughter, Andrea Dawn to Lt. j.g. Samuel Charles Dulaney, son of Robert and Linda Dulaney of Collinsville.
The wedding will be in November of 2015 at First Christian Church.
Miss McLaughlin is the granddaughter of Charles S. and Norita Hamilton of Duncan Falls, Ohio, Mrs. Ilse Bateman and the late Rolland Bateman of Carolina Shores, N.C., and the late Charles and Ruth McLaughlin of Blue Rock, Ohio.
The bride-elect holds an associates degree from Meridian Community College, a bachelor of science in Business Administration from the University of Southern Mississippi and is a 2014 graduate of the University of Mississippi Medical Center and holds a bachelor of science in Nursing. She is also a graduate of Clarkdale High School.
Miss McLaughlin is employed as a nurse at Rush Foundation Hospital.
Lt. j.g. Dulaney is the grandson of Charles and Mary Nell Dulaney and the late Claiborne and Madge Ethridge.
The bridegroom-elect is a 2010 graduate of Mississippi State University and holds a bachelor of science degree in Political Science. He commissioned as an officer in the United States Navy in 2013. He is also a graduate of West Lauderdale High School.
Lt. j.g. Dulaney is currently completing his training as a naval aviator flying the F/A-18 Super Hornet at Naval Air Station Oceana in Virginia Beach, Va.
After the ceremony, the bride and groom will celebrate with family and friends at a reception to be held at the historic Soule’ Steam Feed Works.
