Lindsey Brown and Matthew Rahn were married Saturday, Sept. 19, 2015, at St. Peter’s by-the-Sea Episcopal Church in Gulfport.
Parents of the couple are Alan and Renee Brown of Perkinston and Hal and Cathy Rahn of Griffin, Ga.
Grandparents of the bride are Edda Davis Brown and the late Joseph Everett Brown of Waynesboro; great-grandparents, the late Joseph Benjamin Brown and Ruby Miller Brown of York, Ala., and Oscar Davis and Ruth Gordon Davis of Shubuta.
Grandparents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Johnie Alexander Rahn and the late Dolores Hamrick and Herbert John Watson, all of Savannah, Ga.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
The bride wore an elegant silk ballgown.
Serving as maid of honor was Camille Breland of New Orleans, La.
Other bridesmaids were Leigh Allyn White of Philadelphia and Sarah Beth Ford of Nashville, Tenn.
Serving as best man was Hal Rahn.
Groomsmen were Bart Elmore of Tuscaloosa, Ala., Rory Fraser of Ithaca, New York, and William Hooker of Nashville, Tenn.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at The Historic Chimney’s Restaurant on Mississippi Gulf Coast in Gulfport. Music was provided by The Ice Men, a jazz trio out of New Orleans, La.
After a honeymoon in Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple resides in St. Paul, Minn., where Mrs. Rahn is a news anchor at KSTP-TV. She formerly anchored the news at WTOK in Meridian from 2006-11.
