No one was injured Tuesday morning when shots were fired into a vehicle, police said.

    Officers with the Meridian Police Department responded to a 911 call for a shooting into a vehicle around 6:20 a.m in the 6100 Block of Highway 80 West.

    Police said the vehicle was struck once by gunfire.

    There were no injuries reported and the case is under investigation.
